Main reason for which is thier obsessive doubts . More doubts they get more answers they recieve from net. On the results again they get doubts and it goes on and on . &lt;br /&gt;Common obsessions are of two types . 1. Cleanliness 2. Pathological doubts of getting infection or doing things incorrectly . &lt;br /&gt;Medications and psychotherapy really helps in such cases. Because u insist u "must" not get negative thoughts which is irrational and constant compulsion creating activity . &lt;br /&gt;If some thought u label as positive then automatically u know there is negative . You should be able to focus on negative thoughts and emotions as well find out roots on which u can act and remove both , roots and branches . If u keep on avoiding negative thoughts and emotions u will keep them in back of ur mind , Which can jump up with appropriate opportunity . &lt;br /&gt;Its definately preferable to keep focus on positive but u should not avoid negative as well. What are the common beliefs which lead to this fear -&lt;br /&gt;1. If i fail , its horrible and i can't stand it.&lt;br /&gt;2.my failure in the activity means i am a failure.&lt;br /&gt;3.my failure will lead to disapproval from significant people in my life which i ll not be able to telerate.&lt;br /&gt;4.since i am a "failure" up till now i "deserve" failing . So no doubt if i fail .&lt;br /&gt;5. If i am already afraid of failing which will make me fail then it will not be possible to come out of this problem.&lt;br /&gt;All these irrational thoughts keep a vicious circle rotating .
